How to Defragment a Hard Drive
Many people are already doing this, but it is one of the most important things you can do to keep your computer running at it's best. Over time, after installing and uninstalling programs, your hard drive can become fragmented. Doing a disk defragment on a regular basis is a "must do". Windows users go to MY COMPUTER, right click on your hard drive (usually drive C:), go to PROPERTIES, click on the TAB that says TOOLS, then click DEFRAGMENT NOW. When the defragment program opens click on DEFRAGMENT. I recommend defragmenting once per week. There is also an ANALYZE button you can press to see if Windows recommends the defragment once you get the program opened up.
